Montepertuso in the morning

Here we are, in the morning with this lovely view from the dining room. It is still too hazy to see the Isle of Capri but it is a nice morning with a gentle breeze coming in through the open window. Melanie, our hostess, served a big breakfast - croissants, toast with 3 different homemade jams, ham and cheese, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee, tea and a selection of fresh fruit and cookies. How anyone is supposed to move after all this food is beyond me.

Today, the plan is for us to drive along the Amalfi coast. Melania says the roads are even narrower than the ones here in Montepertuso. Fortunately, we have Petros, the well- seasoned driver of narrow twisty Greek country roads. We are in good hands. Irene says all the beaches around the area are private and it is expensive to use. According to Rick Steves, we should bring our credit cards. I expect we will find out if we ever leave the mountain tops.

I have one other photo to send before we leave the B&B.
